The importance of ensuring bona fides soil analysis

BLRS has recently learned of the case of a fraudulent soil consultancy, Dragonfly Environmental, Consulting Site and Investigation, whose Director has been convicted of issuing falsified certificates related to the nature of soil contamination at a number of sites, especially in north-west England.  BLRS Members who have dealt with this company should seriously reconsider the quality of information provided by it.  The case serves to remind us that it is vital that everyone who draws upon similar services ensures that they are professional, and preferably the quality of their products is accredited under an approved service such as UKAS (www.ukas.com).
